Polyakova Marina Andreevna

Professor of the Department of Materials Processing Technologies

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE • Development of metal ware manufacturing technologies: - high-strength long rolled sections from materials with ultrafine grain structure using combined methods of plastic deformation; - high-strength reinforcement bars for ferroconcrete ties used in modern railroad lines; new methodology for setting norms in normative documentation for metal ware products. RESEARCH INTERESTS • Theoretical and field study of new processes for metal ware manufacturing based on combination of different kinds of plastic deformation. • Standardization and quality control in metallurgical manufacturing technologies. 2002 Awarded a degree of “Associate Professor” 2018 Awarded an academic degree of “Doctor of Science in Engineering” (D.Sc.) 2018 Position of Professor at the Department of Material Processing
