About the Course

Vaccination is a key strategy for preventing serious illness and death from COVID-19. COVID-19 vaccines are available for children 5 and older, but many parents have questions about vaccinations. This training course prepares parents of school-age children, PTAs, community members, and school staff to be Vaccine Ambassadors and promote vaccine acceptance in their communities. After completing the course, Vaccine Ambassadors will be able to share knowledge about COVID-19 and the COVID-19 vaccine, engage in conversations about vaccine hesitancy in a respectful and empathetic way, and direct people to credible sources for further information about COVID-19 vaccines....

I am an MD and I took this course thinking it was more physician-oriented than it actually was. In my opinion, this course is better suited for people who aren't physicians and are just curious or want to learn how to combat misinformation surrounding the vaccine. Overall, it was an okay course. Nothing particularly special but it could be useful to some.

There are several sections with no course material at all, yet they still have required qizzes to answer. Moreover, a number of the sections have questions applying to other sections of the course, rather than the stage one is taking at the time; it's hard to answer a question when it's asking for something you haven't received training in yet.

Good but basic. Covers many of the prevalent myths about covid 19 vaccines, but relies a lot on using fact to counter myth, which for people who are emotionally investedin believing the myth, may not do any good.

The couse is more about pharma sales training than providing actual information to make an informed decision. It uses outdated information and IGNORES all recent studies regarding safety and the durtion of effectiveness, the amount of serious adverse reactions and long term effects, especially in children and pregnant women. Current Studies about natural immunitz, risk/benefit and VAERS data are completely ignored
