• Wann erhalte ich Zugang zu den Vorträgen und Aufgaben?

  Der Zugang zu Vorlesungen und Aufgaben hängt von der Art Ihrer Anmeldung ab. Wenn Sie einen Kurs im Gastmodus belegen, können Sie die meisten Kursmaterialien kostenlos einsehen. Um auf benotete Aufgaben zuzugreifen und ein Zertifikat zu erhalten, müssen Sie während oder nach Ihrer Gastphase das Zertifikat erwerben. Wenn Sie die Gastoption nicht sehen:

  • Der Kurs bietet möglicherweise keine Gastoption an. Sie können stattdessen eine kostenlose Testversion ausprobieren oder finanzielle Unterstützung beantragen.

• What background knowledge is necessary?

  This course is open to all who are interested in learning about the fashion business. Previous experience in fashion or in a creative field is recommended, but not required.

• Is this course truly 100% online? Do I need to attend any classes in person?

  This course is completely online. There is no need to attend any class in person. You can access your lectures, readings and assignments anytime and anywhere via the web or your mobile device.

• What does this course cover?

  In this course, you will learn about technological developments in fashion design, 3D and digital printing, and artisanal design and craftsmanship. You’ll explore building your brand through design aesthetics, materials, silhouettes and fit. You’ll discover the importance of collaboration with other designers and how new modes of thinking and inspiration are integral to the design process. Finally, you’ll examine the future of fashion forecasting, and how the observation of trends, social movements, politics, environmentalism, and pop culture are crucial to building your brand strategy.
