The course touches upon the various elements and concepts of Microeconomics very clearly and in a concise fashion.\n\nVery good course for anyone who wishes to understand the basics of microeconomics.
Great class, extremely useful and with enough introductory mathematical concepts to clarify the claims it makes and create theoretical understanding behind the theories. Definitely recommended.

•Pre-recorded cheesy videos, most likely from the 80s-90s. In general, the course was helpful but could have been done much better. On a side note, the very same professor is now a part of the Trump administration shilling for protectionism against Europe and Canada. I won't be supporting any "courses" offered by him in the future.

•A very helpful course living up to the reputation of the university, imparting the quality education on the topic.
A must do for almost everyone irrespective of their age and backgrounds

•I do not like the Course. Too difficult for me. Slides are too full of written lines that professor Navarro simply reads.

•This is an excellent course that I recommend to everyone. Professor Navarro explains in a way that really matters, and help to understand many economic situations from the past, the present and what could happen in the future among companies, goverments and societies.
It is a shame that many of our politicians, and some businesses are only working for they wallets. If they could put in practice something as simple as The production Possibility Frontier, our countries would be less dependent from other economies i.e. from other countries thus, avoiding to be begars asking most of the time for donations. What a shame !
Thank you Professor Navarro for opening my eyes, and if one day I have the opportunity to pay a visit to your University, I would be very pleased to go and shake your hand, Finally, COURSERA deserves a Nobel for Education for what it is doing for thousands around the world.

•This course is extremely useful and provides practical insights in connecting Microeconomics with business and professional world. The examples used throughout the course are extremely relevant and provides ideas on how Microeconomics can be used on day-to-day basis.
In addition to enhancing knowledge and skills I see this course contributing in development of business and competitive strategies that have a run term impact on businesses and societies.
I would recommend this course to all business executives as a "refresher" before taking up senior level assignments.

•Professor Navarro is one of the more charismatic and engaging lecturers on Coursera! He is a pleasure to listen to and watch. This course is currently helping me grasp some basic Economic concepts that I am completely new to. This course has a lot of real world relevance and I recommend it to anyone who might be looking for a good launchpad course into the world of Economics. Looking forward to taking Macroeconomics (also by Professor Navarro) as soon as I complete this one!

•It's not a full college microeconomic course. However it's quite well organized and explained so, it does provide soil conceptual grounds for someone who wants to study a more complete Microeconomic course. And just as Prof. Navarro says, economics is not something to be memorized but conceptualized, and he provides a great learning environment to incentivate that process.

•First of all thank you for making the course. I liked the structure of the course and the material covered satisfied what I wanted from an introductory course. I also liked the fact that the course is self paced and one can join at any time. In short good course with interesting examples from the professor. I recommend to anybody who is curious about microeconomics.

•A great and thorough refresher for someone that hasn't taken this subject since they were in college 30+ years ago. The mathematics are virtually non-existent, although I do recommend copying the questions from the syllabus at the start of each lecture into a word processor and answering each one as the video discusses it. Great for reviewing the test material.

•This is an excellent introduction to microeconomics. Professor Navarro presents complex ideas clearly and well. The course is well organized. My only regret would be that many of the graphs illustrating important concepts are not available as a separate power point or PDF file. Would have been the cream on the cake.

•Astounding! Even though I have passed quite a few Economics classes in university, from Introductory level to Intermediate and Advanced, this course provided really valuable insights, presented in the best possible manner, with rich real-world background, history, application.
Strongly recommend it!

•Good stuff. Theory that can be applied in everybody's life is presented in an intelligible fashion. I use this course to immerse myself in the finance industry and start understanding broader and more complex subjects. For my purpose this course is ideal. Many thanks to the authors.

•Great introductory course with a lot of questions to conceptualize microeconomics. The professor has also given great examples into the concepts and real-world problems.
I would also recommend taking the course alongside with the suggested textbook at the beginning of the course.

•It's been very useful and easy to follow. I want to do a Master Program on Philosophy & Economics and since I did my degree on Philosophy, now I need some economics background to enroll in that program. I think that this course has helped me to get the required knowledge.

•Prof. Navarro makes this course very didactic and understandable. I am happy that I decided to take an online course instead of an in-person. As I was required to take a Microeconomics course prior to my arrival for my business degree at MIT.

•Course content is outstanding! All the basic microeconomic theories are clearly explained . I recommend for people without prior Economics knowledge and intending to switch to Public Policy or Business. Real Word Scenarios.

•This is the first course I've ever taken in an economics subject and it was a great introduction to the field. The presentations and delivery are clear and illustrative, and the different concepts are reinforced throughout the different modules. Dr Navarro explains difficult and complex information in a way that makes it easy for a beginner like myself to understand, relating it to real life examples, and drawing on key historical events and figures. I'm greatly looking forward to starting The Power of Macroeconomics with UCI and would highly recommend these courses to anyone interested in the subject.
