There are roughly 200 million companies in the world today each processing endless documents of various formats. Even if the type of document are the same, extracting data from them is a tedious task to do the varying layouts they come in. Even robotic process automation or RPA works well only with structured data sources. So what about data that's not fully structured? How will you process it? Welcome to this specialization on implementing RPA and cognitive solutions. I'm Jon Stueve, Senior Product Trainer, Facilitator, and coach and Automation Anywhere. Over the last 25 years, I've leveraged proven effective methodologies in learning and development. Today, I introduce you to a topic that is shaping RPA, cognitive solutions, and RPA Analytics. The fourth course is specialization. Although RPA is in almost every industry and is growing fast in terms of sales, there's another aspect of RPA that is taking the industry by storm, Cognitive automation. Organizations implementing RPA will be deploying it with cognitive capabilities too. So what is cognitive automation? It's a set of automation techniques that use artificial intelligence or AI to learn and understand the same way a human brains works and assist humans in making decisions, completing tasks, and meeting goals. Comparative traditional RPA which operates unstructured data, cognitive automation can extract semi and unstructured data. Since the radii of such data to structured data in the world is around 80 percent compared to 20, cognitive automation is welcome addition to the traditional RPA. This course will take you through the solution that Automation Anywhere has come up with to deal with semi-structured data. As you go through this course, you'll learn how the end-to-end RPA solution is designed to include cognitive automation. You will also explore the role that artificial intelligence plays in cognitive automation. IQ Bot is the cognitive solution offered by Automation Anywhere. You will learn how IQ Bot functions when integrated with the Automation Anywhere enterprise client or AAE Client, the RPA tool. You'll also learn about the IQ Bot portal where it comes to light and the IQ Bot workflow that we'll follow to use the portal. At the workflow you will first go to the steps to create a learning instance which is like an IQ Bot project, and you will see how this tool trigger document analysis, declassification document samples into logical groups. Then you will learn how to use the designer on the portal to effectively train the IQ bots to map different types of fields. Once you learn about bot training, you will learn how to push the bots and learning instances to the live environment, and run the bot using the AAE Client. You will then learn how to use the validator to handle some documents that may fail automatic processing. You'll explore the dashboard to see how you can use it to monitor their IQ bots. Data is a precious asset in today's digital age. Businesses are struggling to make sense of the large volume of available data and generate a tangible value. But for business processes that are manual, there's barely any data available to capture. This is where robotic process automation or RPA analytics comes in. RPA bots are capable of automating any business processes in pretty much every industry. But RPA doesn't just automate business processes, it also digitizes them. RPA bots are processing tremendous volumes of data within processes, and this data elements each have a different story to tell. Taking this large volume of data and interpreting it near-real time to provide actual information is a powerful tool for the enterprise. This is where RPA bots can make a huge difference. While RPA bot is automating repetitive processes, it can simultaneously record vital data elements and store them securely for display. In this course, we'll explore how automation bot insight, can provide this functionality. This course will ultimately help you generate different types of analytics using Automation Anywhere enterprise and bot insight. Bot insight is embedded within the enterprise platform to provide an RPA analytics platform. As you go through this course, you will learn how RPA analytics help interpret and improve automated business processes. Specifically, you will see how bot insight functions as an RPA analytics platform, you'll also explore the different types of RPA analytics such as operational analytics, business analytics, and CoE Excellence or CoE Analytics. Depending upon the type of analytics that need to be generated, you will generate RPA analytics via two mechanisms; the Web Control Room for Operational Analytics, and Bot Insight for Business Analytics and CoE Analytics. As you reach the end of this course, you will learn how to use the RPA mobile app to study and edit the default CoE dashboard. This is published via the bot insight technology. The instructional videos in this course is designed to help you achieve these learning objectives. Along the way, there will be questions to help you revise your knowledge and hands-on tasks for practical experience. You will also take an assessment to check your understanding on the content covered. At the end, you'll apply what you've learned by working on a use case that has been built in the previous course projects. Thank you for taking the time to watch this introductory video. Let's get started.
